How to use the Forum

The forum is a place where students and teachers will be able to communicate with other members of the website.The comments also known as posts or threadsor messages are visible to members or registered users.

Any registerd user who may know the answer to the question or have an opinion about a comment can post a reply. The moderator would check the reponse to ensure that it is accurate in relation to the issue being discussed.

Ensure you introduce yourself to the other members of the sociology community before posting your comment/question, this is the protocol for interaction. Use a pseudo-name or your user name. Do not give out personal information online.

Aviod using names or words that are vulgar, lewd or insulting. Failure to do so would result in the user being banned from participating in the forum and the website as a whole.

Advantages of a forum
1. users can communicate with each other without all users being obliged to be online at the same time.

2. users would be able to find out answers to their questions faster, since forums allows questions to be answered and usually answers tend to be more accurate.
